Hi (I presume Jordan)

I used to think short term missions were no more than a vacation too until God did something ironic. He brought me to work in a short term missions organization for a year. I had the chance to lead two. That is when I saw with my own eyes the power of God to save those who are lost through (who the makers of this video make fun of) passionate young teens with a heart for God and for the lost.

Be careful about belittling the work of the Lord. Hundreds of millions of lives have been changed by short term mission trips. 

I would encourage this comedian to contact me and I can network him with the right people to see first hand the power of the Holy Spirit’s work not only to the nationals where these teens go, but also in the teens themselves. 

If you really feel this is an area where the body of Christ needs to change I don’t see how making a rude sarcastic video to criticize and discourage people from missions is going to help. Check your heart and check your motives Jordan.

I really would like to help you and your friends if they too feel the same way see the fruit of student short term missions because I too was where you are at.
