keeperofthetardis asked: When you guys make a video, what is most important to you? Can you talk a bit about the process of how you make your videos, and what you try to put into them, whether it be themes, or how you film the shots, or the writing of it, editing, etc. I'm a big fan of your work - keep it up! :D

Yeah, great question!

Well, the most difficult part is coming up with the initial idea. We basically just try to think of things people can relate to, but present them in ways people haven’t though about before. Once we’ve done that, we figure out the structure of the video- all the points we want to make about the topic. Then we try and fill it out with jokes and decide on pacing etc. Shooting the video, we usually shoot all the “skits” first since those are easier and more fun, and then after that, we shoot Jordan’s monologue parts. Shooting takes about 3-4 hours. Editing is…editing. No fun stories. It just is what it is. Kelli and I watch the video probably a trillion times and usually end up cutting things out that worked on paper but didn’t end up translating.
